S.F.

Reverie

Discography

The track S.F. is on the KNUCKLETRACKS complilation available in the April edition of BRAVE WORDS AND BLOODY KNUCKLES. Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Septimus go for a provocative alloy between grinding metal riffery and clean female vocals, something which is a perfect blend of this album's slicing cover of Priest/Baez's "Diamonds and Rust". "S.F" however, is an original indicative of the band's groove, large rhythm's and tasty traditional axe magic.

"Time Trials" was recorded at Ek Sound Studios in Calgary, Alberta during August of 1999. This diverse, melodic 12 track release was recorded, engineered and co-produced by Dave Harrison. Tracks include Room of Insanity,Who's in the cage, In my mind,Reverie, The light in me, How could I?, 5AM, S.F., Jaded, Hazy Daze, Epic/Moth in my room. To give thanks, we’ve added a bonus track on “Time Trials“. A cover of “Diamonds and Rust”, a live favorite, written by Joan Baez and later covered by Judas Priest. So far “Time Trials” has been well received in Edmonton via airplay, press, and cd sales.

The debut 10-song C.D. "Virago Submission" was recorded at E.K. Sound (Calgary) by Dave Harrison back in April/May 1996. It was officially released in July ‘96 and produced by Septimus. The album featured new versions of "Phobia, N.F.A. (Part 2), Ribcracker and You Dog", as well the tracks: "Unknowing, Polar Ice, Feed The Dragon, All Tangled Up, Little Whip and Funkfun.
All of the album’s artwork and photos were again done by Ted (Tedillac) Forbyth.
Vladimir (Vova) Poplavski provided all bass guitar lines.

TAPE COVER

This 4-song E.P. was recorded at Tac-Time Studios(Calgary) in September 1995.
The tracks "Phobia","No Fixed Address (Part 2)", "Ribcracker" and "You Dog" feature original bass player Stefan (Steve/Puto) Dzubiella.
The tape’s cover art was airbrushed by Tedillac.

O.M.A.C.(The Original Music Association of Calgary) Compilation C.D.1 is a diverse collection of Calgary talent.

The disc features 18 different artists in total. Septimus’s contribution the track: "Phobia"(taken from the E.P.), is probably the "heaviest" tune on the disc. It was released in December of ‘95.

O.M.A.C." Live At Bridgeland" Vol. 2 is another compilation, this time recorded live at Bridgeland Community Hall in Calgary over three nights back in July of ‘96. The cool thing about this disc is that it’s an enhanced C.D.ROM which features live footage and visual images of each band. 13 bands in all combine rock-punk-country-metal stylings into one, much improved, entertaining listen. A very fast, kick-ass version of "Ribcracker" is our contribution to the C.D. The disc was released in January, 1997.
